Stop chasing
certificates.
Every sub and vendor on your jobs has to carry current insurance — and right now, you're the one chasing it. The emails. The follow-ups. The spreadsheet that can't tell you who's actually covered.CertifiKit verifies every certificate against your requirements, chases the fixes with the issuing agent, and warns you before anything expires.

The problem
“Hey — can you send over your current COI?”
If you've typed that sentence this week, you already know the problem. Collecting certificates by email and spreadsheet stops working past your tenth vendor — and the tools built to fix it start at enterprise prices, a sales call, and a thousand certificates.
8+ hrs
lost every week to the chase
Office managers report spending the better part of a workday emailing, texting, and calling subs for current certificates — then re-checking each one by hand against a spreadsheet.
30–60 days
of renewal-season pileup
Most policies renew at the same time of year. The enterprise tools' human review queues slow to a crawl exactly when you need them — and your crews don't wait.
1 cert
expired is all a claim needs
If a sub's coverage lapsed and someone gets hurt on your site, the claim can land on your policy — and your premiums. The spreadsheet won't warn you.
How it works
From inbox pile to green checkmarks
You set the requirements once. After that, the only time a certificate needs you is when something is actually wrong.
- 01
Set requirements once
Pick a preset or set your own — GL, workers' comp, auto, umbrella limits; additional insured (CG 20 10), waiver of subrogation, primary & non-contributory. Per project or vendor type.
- 02
Certs come to you
Subs and agents reply to a normal email, or tap a link that opens their phone camera. No portal, no logins — which is why certificates actually arrive. Each one is read field-by-field in 60 seconds.

CertifiKit chases
Wrong limit? Missing endorsement? The issuing agent gets the exact fix list, with follow-ups until the corrected cert lands. Expirations are flagged 30, 14, and 7 days out — before the crew is scheduled.
Why trust it
Compliance software that shows its work
A wrong “compliant” is worse than no answer at all. CertifiKit is built so you can see exactly why every verdict is what it is.
AI reads, rules decide
AI only extracts the fields. The compliant / non-compliant verdict comes from an auditable rules engine, and every result shows the extracted value next to your requirement. Anything uncertain goes to human review — never a silent pass.
No vendor portal. Ever.
Your subs and their agents reply to a normal email with a PDF, or tap a link that opens their phone camera. Nothing to sign up for means certificates actually arrive.
Audit-ready by default
Every certificate version and every verdict is timestamped and kept. When your insurer or a lawyer asks, export the whole packet in one click.
Renewal radar
Expiry reminders at 30, 14, and 7 days — and SMS alerts like “Acme Electric's GL expires Friday, crew scheduled Monday” before it becomes your problem.
The chase, automated
Rejection emails go to the issuing agent with the exact fix list — agents fix certs faster when they're told precisely what's wrong. Follow-ups run until the corrected cert lands.
Built for 10–300 vendors
The enterprise tools want 1,000+ certificates before they'll talk to you. CertifiKit is built for the GC with 30 subs and the property manager with 80 vendors.
Why we’re building this
Nobody automates the small end of this market.
Pilot interviews in progress — real, attributed customer quotes replace this panel as they land.
8+ hrs
per week
Businesses report spending more than a full workday every week chasing missing documents across email, text, and WhatsApp — and the people on the other end resent vendor portals.

Questions
Fair questions, straight answers
What is a certificate of insurance (COI)?
A certificate of insurance is a one-page summary — usually an ACORD 25 form — that proves a business carries insurance. It lists the carrier, policy numbers, coverage limits, and policy dates. Contractors and property managers collect COIs from subcontractors and vendors so that if something goes wrong on a job, the claim lands on the vendor's policy instead of their own.
How does CertifiKit verify a certificate?
AI reads the document and extracts every field — limits, dates, endorsements, carriers — with a confidence score. A deterministic rules engine then compares each field against your requirements and produces the verdict. The AI never decides compliance, and anything it can't read confidently is flagged for human review instead of being silently passed.
Is this insurance advice?
No. CertifiKit is decision support: it shows you what a certificate says next to what your requirements demand, with the source visible for every field. Decisions about what coverage to require — and final judgment calls — stay with you and your insurance professional.
Do my subs or their agents need to create accounts?
No. There is no vendor portal. Subs and agents reply to a normal email with the certificate attached, or open a link that goes straight to their phone camera. That's the whole reason certificates actually show up.
How much does it cost?
The instant checker is free — one check, no account. Paid plans are public: Starter is $99/month for 25 tracked vendors, Growth is $249/month for 100, and Pro is $499/month for 300. Annual billing gets you 2 months free. No demo required for any of them.
Who is CertifiKit for?
Office managers at 10–50-person general contractors, small property-management companies, and self-managed HOA boards — anyone tracking insurance for roughly 10 to 300 vendors. That's the segment enterprise COI tools skip.
Run your worst sub's
COI through it.
You know the one. Upload their certificate and get a plain-English verdict in 60 seconds — free, no account, no sales call. That's the whole pitch.
